Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze has built a career across civil society, journalism, and politics. She notably served as Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of Ukraine (2016-2019), before becoming a Member of Parliament and Chair of the Parliamentary Committee on Ukraine's Integration into the European Union since 2019. She previously served as First Deputy Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee and headed the Ukrainian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly (2014-2016). In civil society and media, she led several non-governmental organizations, including the Open Ukraine Foundation and the Yalta European Strategy (YES) network, while working for the Ukrainian Center for Independent Political Research and the East-West Institute. Her journalistic experience includes five years as BBC Ukrainian Service correspondent in the United States and the Caucasus (2002-2007). She is co-author of Black Sea Region: Cooperation and Security Building, 2003, Routledge, and a member of the Aspen-Ukraine alumni association.
