This was the theme that brought together the Aspen Institutes network in Segovia from April 23 to 26, 2026.
🇪🇸 Over three days, nearly one hundred representatives from Aspen Institutes around the world, including Anne-Gabrielle Heilbronner, President of Institut Aspen France, gathered in Segovia at the invitation of Aspen Institute España to strengthen ties across the network and explore new opportunities for collaboration.
The Aspen Institute network is composed of 13 international partners operating across 16 countries: Colombia, France, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Romania, Spain, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, and Central Europe (Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and Slovakia), as well as the Aspen Initiative for Africa based in Nairobi.
The opening evening, attended by His Majesty King Felipe VI of Spain, explored the challenges of leadership in a time of profound technological and geopolitical transformation.
The second day featured a Socratic seminar on leadership led by Miguel Herrero de Jáuregui, Associate Professor of Greek Philology at the Complutense University of Madrid.
The third and final day gave each Institute the opportunity to present its activities and upcoming projects, fostering dialogue and strengthening collaboration across the network.
